At 4:15 AM, throwing up in the sink might *seem* like a good idea, but considering the cleanup involved, it's really not.

Also, I've been drifting on and off for a while now, but never really deep asleep, but at the same time, not really sleepy. I fear tomorrow I will be *wrecked.*

Well, throwing up in the sink is better than, say, throwing up in bed, or on the carpet, etc.

You said it, not me. ;-)

You got a spare kitty we could sacrifise? That might help.

;-)

True Neutral
Hastur Hastur... somethingorother.

Maybe I just need to dedicate myself to some higher purpose to alleviate this debt incurred. That's the ticket.

Drinking lots of water was my suggestion, but I'm not good at doing that myself. I hope you can, though. I hope you have a good rest. What a bummer to get this during your break from work.

Warning: Later symptom
eracerhead tells me that kidney pain is an after-effect. Zoe might not have gotten this, but we could. I'm in the second day and am still rumbling inside despite eating next to nothing yesterday. I'm trying to be kind to my kidneys and every other part of my body, too. I'm supposed to sing in the choir tomorrow and participate in social justice action, so I'm expecting to be better then. BTW, we encouraged Grandma to wait and return later next week so as not to be exposed to this - I think she's flying in Tues.

Re: Warning: Later symptom
See, I got it the day after you, so I'm following your case closely. Thanks for the tips. No kidney pains here.

Re: Warning: Later symptom
None for me either. I still have internal rumblings, but no actual upset today. I only had a tiny bit to eat last night and nothing so far today. (Geez, is it night already?! - well, I slept until noon so the day has gone fast.) No diarrhea either as was Race's most profound symptom.

So what is actually wrong with your car that requires a new engine? (I am sekritly trying to possibly find you cheap options)
Dr. Aculaoontzgrrl on November 26th, 2006 09:40 pm (UTC)
Made this comment in the wrong post but you get the idea. :)

The engine, apparently, seized up. They hope to locate the cause in the rebuilding of it. It was, to quote, 'nasty.'
Dr. Aculaoontzgrrl on November 26th, 2006 10:03 pm (UTC)
Ugh. If you do end up needing a new engine, I'll see if Dave can get one for you at cost or something through the shop he works at.

Danke for the offer, I will keep it in mind for next time. Needed something done ASAP, so we went with what was closest. (And it woulda been a far sight to get the car from southern MD to VA.)
