Today's Friday Five stolen from
1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?
Graphic novels/comic books, followed by novels. I read (online) newspapers, but mostly to be informed of current events, not for entertainment.
2. What is your favorite novel?
At the moment, The Once And Future King by T. H. White or Grendel by John Gardner.
3. Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)
I'm not big into poetry, but probably Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. Which is freely admitted as a cop-out answer as I can't think of anything else at this time (OK, Jabberwocky.)
4. What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?
Everything. Like, for instance, this stack of books I've bought or borrowed or whatever over the years. I buy many more that I have time to read. Top of that stack, Riddley Walker.
5. What are you currently reading?
Just finished Justice League: Earth 2 by Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly. (I wasn't too pleased with it.) Next up is The Autobiography of Malcolm X for book club.
