Another unpolished entry

I hate looking at my LJ and just seeing like five personality tests in a row. It's embarrassing. I may be swearing off them for a hile (or at least posting them.)

Let's reverse-engineer. Caught Brotherhood of the Wolf today. Some of my friends tried to warn me away from it, but others said I would like it; this is an interesting duality. However, the latter were correct. Don't get me wrong, it's not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination. I am a firm believer that a movie can be enjoyable, and not good. Two seperate animals. Back on track, Brotherhood is visually and thematically pretty damn nice, and as one reviewer put it, a perfect D&D movie. However, theme and visuals don't exactly cover up plot and acting, but we made allowances for French kung fu fantasy movies. Tragically, I had to put off an anime day today someone was hosting today; it looked like big fun, but I had too much other stuff going on. Will have to find out if the shows they watched were any good. Ah well, next time.

My grand plans to run an Aberrant tabletop and begin working on a larp were sidetracked midway last week when Magistrate offered me a writing job last week. Before you get excited, let me explain that, yes, I will technically be a published author again, however it is just more gaming stuff. I'm working on a couple countries for a worldbook for an upcoming d20 project. Very exciting, I know. Finally, chicks will dig me. Or something.
Nothing else of great import to go here, yet. Maybe I can find time at work tomorrow for another, more meaningful update. I've ben shamed by friends in that department. Unfortunately, looks like it's going to be another exciting day at work tomorrow, as we are going through some growing changes with the new owners, and I think their latest scheme will fly like a lead baloon. But I promise, you people here will be first to know.
