Today's horror story: 'My Lobotomy': Howard Dully's Journey

Lobotomized by his parents in 1960, a man goes on a journey to understand of the pioneering doctor who advocated the procedure for widespread use, talks to other survivors and their relatives, and confront his father about it.

It's a great read, but if you can, I recommend downloading the audio. It's positively *chilling* hearing the story in his own voice.
