Issue #5 is upon us!

Everyone, quick, go check it out and report back to me. :} Gonna take me a couple days to get around to it, but that'll give everyone else time to shake out the bugs.

For supposedly being gimped even harder, my reflex scrapper got more XP today than I had in the last week.

I think that in the final analysis, the DOOOOOOM brigade will be shouted down.

Of the gimping, I'm concerned about the Taunt reduction the most.

Yes, it was being abused, but, murr.

I dunno, the tank I was working with last night seemed to keep it under control fairly well - the taunt duration is still pretty long, it just means that getting control of the mobs is a continuous process, not a one-off at the beginning of the fight.

You only grab five per taunt. You can taunt multiple times. Sometimes, a particularly vicious attack from a teammate may draw aggro to them. In that case, you can easily sieze it back.

We were running a tank, two scrappers, and a buffless defender last night, hopping into groups of 6-10 +4 mobs and coming out alive on the other side. Not always coming out healthy, and I used more inspirations that I'm used to, but alive.

I don't think you'll see people rounding up an entire map's worth of mobs and taking them out unscathed anymore. But then again, if I wanted to do that, I'd play Dynasty Warriors.

I mostly tank
and the changed forced me to setup for my each fight. I'm a stoner, so I stroll (emphasis on stroll) in with Mud Pots on and then taunt the outliers. One of my charges died last night, I think that was because of poor management on my part.

My taunt is slotted with 3 recrdx and 2 taunt duration, so between that and 'Pots I think I can hold aggro just as well as before.

The main changes affect those who would herd entire warehouse maps and then have blasters nuke. The nukes cap at 16 targets (last I heard), and other AOEs have reduced numbers as well.

XP seemed quicker, even though I was just in a group of 3.

Did you have that many slots in Taunt before the new issue?
