You know what drives me *nuts* about television news coverage of soaring gas prices? They *always* say something to the effect of 'well, prices keep going up, but people keep buying' as though this says prices aren't too high yet or something. Dude. People *need* to keep buying gas, or else we can't get to work, to make more money to spend on increasingly expensive gasoline. Quit making it sound like a luxury. Gah!
