Bus up was fine, but, well, it stank. Seriously, everything I imagined public transportation would smell like, and more. Ride back was almost waylayed by the WORST Greyhound employee ever. Less said the better there, but the short answer is, thanks to Georgia, I was able to actually get on the bus, instead of being forced to take a later one because of the employee's incompetence. And the bus on the way home? Really hot. I mean, I was almost sweating the entire ride. Nevertheless, the price makes it (almost) worth the minor inconveniences.
Hitting the Toys 'R' Us in Times Square the weekend before Christmas was also not my best idea. But any toy store you can walk away from is a good one. Also, I saw a white wizard, which was odd.
And oh my lord, the weather in NYC. I always forget that the city is entirely made of walking (and while the subway is convenient and all, you always have to walk like five blocks to get to the right entrance, it seems.) And the Freeky Cold Weather yesterday *really* didn't help. I thought I was going to die at one point, and my feet are still a little sore. But hey, it's good exercise, or something.
Also, let me sing the praised of Katz's Deli, which was remarkably awesome and tasty.
A movie was caught Sunday night, brief review of that tomorrow. Probably.
