Tonight, on Lost...

* Charlie and Hurley following around Jack: cracking me up.
* I like to think that, even in his delusional, sleep-deprived state, Jack could tell how *cra-zy* Locke is.
* Then again, I'm not sure Locke is crazy.
* Was that a cave next to the waterfall?
* Don't touch the evil doll in the water! What are you thinking!
* "OK, everyone needs to find jobs to do. And Sawyer, we're out of bodies to loot, so you need a new job."

[EDIT: I'm actively trying to avoid spoilers for upcoming episodes myself. There's a interesting minor detail I found online about one of the past episodes, it's in the comments below.]

Some other points:

Possibly a zombie Jack's father

At 0:13 the same couple walked by the tent. Possible continuity error, but Aaron remains convined that it was the matrix resetting.

Insect repellent for sex? Awesome.

Yeah, Boone's, uh, complex. But I now see the family resemblence with his sister. At least he's not stalking Lana Lang anymore!

Sawyer remains a personal favorite character.

Interesting trivia uncovered online:

'Yunjin Kim initially read for the role of Kate. She wasn't right for the role, but the producers liked her so much that they created the Korean couple for her.'

WHOAH. AND. Apparently, the French that Shannon was translating wasn't everything that the woman said. (Either it's a continuity error, or she didn't translate correctly, or who knows.) The lines she didn't say were "It is outside, they are all dead, please help us". And then "If anyone hears this, I'll try to reach the black rock".

man, non-kate-beckensale-lite kate would've been righteous ("i'm korean" instead of "i'm canadian"? priceless). the episode with kate's outback adventure has been the episode i've been closest to meh about. the least interesting backstory, of the three so far. but who knows what's to come? i'm hoping she, like, kicks puppies or something.

i am strongly on the side of "shannon didn't know". she didn't pay attention in high school french!

i was expecting to find out what jack's mom meant by the "after what you did", but really only half-expecting. but in a good way.

I find myself wondering at the significance of Charlie's tattoo with the Strawberry Fields Forever quote. "Living is easy with eyes closed". Given the lyrics of the song, I cannot help but think there's something there. Even though that's exactly the opposite of what the song says.

Yeah, I am under the distinct impression there won't be many if any coincidences on this show, and they sure had that tattoo front and center this episode.
