Anyways. Off yesterday and today, pattern will likely continue next week. Burnin' that vacation!
Monday, Regent came over to work on her assignment from her nephews: to paint a couple miniatures. I'm all for more painting time, and dare I say she did an admirable job. Much better than my first figs!
While painting, I finally got to see Bowling for Columbine. Moore amuses me, he brings up some good points, but he's such a propagandist that they just get swept by in the rush. Movie was good, worth seeing, but know what you're getting into.
Tuesday, hung out with Operative X. After hitting the Austin Grill (lesson: frozen drinks take too long to drink if you don't want brainfreeze,) we hit the Landmark for The Triplets of Belleville. A decidedly freeky little film, much more surreal than I expected, but in a good way. Thereafter, retired to her place for more booze, Teen Titans and some other TiVo fare.
(Oh, and the short before Triplets, the one Disney worked on with Dali, very ehn. Some neat imagery, but otherwise forgettable.)
Yesterday was some Mage planning with Aztec, including a Silver Diner run. Today appears to be mostly errands, kicking off a *packed* weekend. Busy like a bug.
