Iran and biofactories
* States first: the complicated part about the Obamacare rollout.
* Huh. Interesting article on why we should be friends with Iran. (The author glosses over the bad blood in our shared history, however.)
* Yes, our allies have surveillance agencies too.
* How the Democrats took back Minnesota.
* The future of biofactories.

There's a huge difference between a covert, illegal spying program (especially one happening in a foreign country) and a government sanctioned program where they can compel participation from 3rd parties and immediately act on anything they find. I am actually kind of comfortable with the idea of getting spied on - hackers are attempting it constantly. What I am not at all comfortable with is that it is normal, that it is justified, and that I should approve of it, and that I or anyone else can be compelled to participate and legally disallowed from admitting it.

I am about as angry about the false equivalency implied by that article is as I am about the NSA domestic spying program.

Finally read the biofactories and Minnesota articles. Renewed concerns, hope. :-)
