Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World was decent. Not a great movie, but a good one worth seeing, and worth seeing on the big screen. Sure, there's not important things like "character development" or anything "deep" in the film. Even their intellectual subplot is only given a passing nod. But it's fun to watch, and damned impressive in places.
Also, Puzzle Pirates players, this is *the* movie of the year, to explain why carping is so darned important.
