Tomorrow, Armistice Day dinner. No, really.
Thursday, Blood Bowl? I think.
Went to see Love, Actually last night. Mind you, I have yet to sit through either of the guy's other movies (Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral.) But this one was pretty decent. Downsides: it feels very long, and I could easily have cut out two of the *ten* subplots/storylines to speed it up. Which would have also made it easier keeping track of characters and names and the like. Also, with so many crammed in there, most of the stories aren't all that deep. But it's a nice movie which makes you all optimistic and happy. Some very funny scenes in there, and some of the stories have a nice level of depth and complexity to them. (For those who have seen it, I liked the rock star's and the prime minister's best.) Also, some surprisingly good performances (the kid was really good, as was Liam Neeson.) So, good, but not great. Worth seeing, if you're into that sort of thing.
Later, notes on trailers I've seen recently.
