a little catching up

In Theaters: Iron Man 3

Last week we made time to watch Iron Man 3 on the big screen, and we weren't disappointed. It's definitely my favorite of the trilogy. They do a great job of incorporating the events in Avengers while keeping the focus on the characters and the current problems (Pepper, especially, gets a welcome larger role.) It's actually a little tricky to talk about it without setting up expectations. The villains are pretty exceptional, well-acted character growth, and there's a great collection of big-scene moments. And one super-ultra-rare comic book reference that just, like, wow. (Ask me in person!) Anyways. Catch it on the silver screen.

Excellent (but spoiler-y) review and analysis by Linda Holmes here.

Trailers tomorrow, hopefully.
