gaming zomg

Snuck down to Dream Wizards last night and caught up with a few guys to playtest the upcoming game Malifaux. The setting ("steamvictoriohorrorwestpunk") is what caught my attention, but the rules are also pretty interesting. Instead of dice, they use playing cards in a very fancy fashion. I'm still getting used to the system, but it has a lot of charm. Definitely looking forward to it.

I also note there was a couple guys there playing Blood Bowl, which is highly tempting. They say there's a pretty regular turnout, if not a large one...

Got home late, was up later still doing chores and packing for today. Hangings out tonight, likely quiet night tomorrow. Sunday, another haircut party. Solid.
