Netflixin': Mamma Mia!

Allow me to preface this by saying that, while I love ABBA, I dislike most musicals and most romantic comedies. That being said, Mamma Mia! is pretty fantastic. It won some points with me early on by establishing that it was completely divorced from reality, and wouldn't be making any attempts to drag itself closer. And from there, it's easier to just sit back and enjoy the ride. It's a fun flick, the songs mesh together well enough. Meryl Streep is actually really good, too. Plus there's an actual Greek chorus! And, man, the musical stylings of Pierce Brosnan and Stellan Skaaarsgard make it worthy of cult status. Fun stuff.
