"There are 140,000 U.S. troops in Iraq – and 100,000 contractors. More than 269 soldiers and officers have faced disciplinary action for detainee-related incidents since October 2001. Only one contractor has. Why have troops been held accountable for crimes but contractors have not?"

Most Americans want us out of Iraq, so Secretary Gates announces... longer tours of duty! Also, examining why the military reached the breaking point.

Riiiiight. "The White House said Wednesday that it may have lost what could amount to thousands of messages sent through a private e-mail system used by political guru Karl Rove and at least 50 other top officials." (Leahy, being apparently somewhat computer-savvy, totally calls them on it.)
