Good times last night. Had a few people over, M. cooked a tasty dinner. Much wine was had (not by me, though. See next paragraph.) A few games of Apples to Apples ensued, plus good conversation. Fun was had by all.

Naturally, didn't get much sleep last night either. Thinking I might need to curtail some of my activities this evening, as we're going on Day Three of this. Was very weird driving in this morning, as a result. I left the house right before dawn, and the skies are all overcast and slightly drizzly, so the lighting was all off-kilter.

POW. "Gonzales met with senior aides on Nov. 27 to review a plan to fire a group of U.S. attorneys, according to documents released last night, a disclosure that contradicts Gonzales's previous statement that he was not involved in 'any discussions' about the dismissals."
