Thrilling Two-Fisted Tales of Commuters Observed:
Earlier this week, when I was stuck without a seat on the Metro, I ended up standing next to this guy. He was about my age, wearing some trendy bowling shirt; this accentuated the fact that he was, in fact, built like a bowler. He was holding his one year old son, and about a quarter of what I heard him say involved him explaining to his son not to point at strangers. The bowling dad was wearing wraparound reflective sunglasses, that weren't entirely necessary in the DC underground. Oh, and to top off his image as a non-typical dad, he had a neck tattoo, which thanks to my years of academic training as a nerd, I recognized as one of the tattoos from the first Blade movie.

Oh, how I miss quiet days at work like today was. Good times.

Didn't get enough larp writing done today. Oops. Did establish what my miniatures painting priorities are, though. My work is cut out for me.

Another busy weekend ahead. Partay in Virginny tonight, crashing there. Picking up bebe tomorrow and heading down to Brandywine, for girlfriend's birthday dinner with her family. Crash over *there,* driving back up Monday morning to drop off the youngling at day care. Not much online visibility until after that.

Luckily, doesn't seem that there's anything to miss at the box office this weekend. (However, while looking for this info, I ran into articles about a Captain Marvel movie, and X-Files 2, both of which frighten me for different reasons.)

Remember, karaoke in Laurel next Friday for the birthday girl.
