birthday plotting

Mein birthday slouches forward, like some rough beast. I'm thinking kara-oke is the best bet again this year. Would love to host a party, but doubt I could get many people to Baltimore. So, tentative plans for kara-oke in Laurel on the evening of Saturday, November 5th.

No need for presents, If you want to give me something, a mix CD would be fine and dandy.

Work still goofy busy. Commuting life still long and draining. More later.

[EDIT: Right, dinner. I'm not doing a huge dinner, instead I'll do a couple smaller dinners. Worked well last year. Let me know if you're interested.]

Do you always have some song or another running through your head, even when you're thinking about other things?

Took 108 home (cuts from Georgia to 29, meaning it eliminates the long drive down Georgia and most of 70.) Turns out 108 is also mostly a two-lane road, with lots of lights, so I won't save any real time by taking it instead. However, it's a nice alternative, and I can always catch the sights in lovely downtown Olney, or even visit the Silver Spring Museum. Ye-ah.

Selene just cut my hair! It's even still long, but significantly fewer dead ends. Everything a boy could hope for.
