Thrilling Two-Fisted Tales of Commuters Observed
In the past, I have described my sp00ky enjoyment of the ghost trains, passengerless, riderless Metro trains that simply rocket through the station, like harbingers of some commuting d00m. However, yesterday was a first for me. Six-car train, with the two cars *in the middle* being lightless and riderless. In front and behind, everything's normal, if not a little crowded. Oblivious to the giant ball of creepy, right in their midst.
OK, no actual commuters observed there, so here's the added bonus. Summer in DC means tourists, but occasionally, you get the people that define stereotypes in your everyday life. Older couple, I would guess newly retired, carrying brochures from some museum and a Metro map. They're wearing *matching* orange shirts and khaki shorts.
