On this day in 1781, Uranus was discovered. Or rather, the planet Uranus was discovered by Sir William Herschel. So today, we celebrate Uranus!

No clubbing for me tonight. Sigh. RQ's dad is in town next week, so now I am shooting for the, uh, 27th I guess.

Book club reading still going slow, but I am very well enjoying it. The length of the book is scaring me, in that I want to finish in time, for a change of pace. But projects piling up, etc. Need more time!

Census data uncovers more couples are just living together, and a lot of them are raising kids. I swear, I try to be innovative, looks what happens.

And in case you couldn't tell from your inbox, spam e-mail is reaching terrifying new heights. We really need a solution here.
