end of an era

Mark Hamill retires from his nineteen-yar run of playing the voice of the Joker in cartoons and video games. Seriously, his portrayal of the character was even more influential than Heath Ledger's take, and as noted elsewhere, he leaves behind some big clown shoes to fill.
