Nan is released from the hospital Thursday. Medicare/Medicaid/Blue Cross/Blue Shield ran out. This is as you may have guessed an additional stress on the already strained home situation, since there was really no warning. We shall see how things go.
Called the last prospective Larp sites in Laurel that I have on my list. And the best deal looks to be the Laurel VFD, which is just over $100 an hour. Now, we're looking at 5-6 hours per game, which is adding up.
All this mess of trying to track down a larp sites (I have some reasonable standards, I feel) is inclining me, more and more, to just run a table-top game instead. I've been waffling on this for, oh, six months or more now. I think tomorrow or Thursday I will write up a pro and con of larp vs. table-top, and solicit some opinions here. LJ is nothing if not a good place to dredge up opinions.
