An unexpected advantage to watching Doctor Who way out of order and with the benefit of hindsight is picking up on the subtle things Russel Davies snuck in there from the get-go (references to Harry Saxon, the Bad Wolf meme, or mentions of Torchwood) and knowing what they all mean. Fun stuff.
