Netflixin': The Princess and the Frog

In the first five minutes of The Princess and the Frog, Disney establishes that they're really stepping outside their comfort zone, and IMHO, they hit it out of the park. Yes, it's a princess story, but dramatically different and much more modern than most of what you expect from them these days. The voice cast really excels, which is a bonus because the characters are much better defined than you expect from the average animated fairy tale. Clearly the best (non-Pixar) thing they've done in years, and definitely a good movie for parents and kids alike.
