just, wow  
Last night, M. and I stayed up until All Hours of the night watching a double-feature of Twilight and Twilight: New Moon. Crazy, crazy terrible. It's a cultural touchstone and all, I'm sure, but, man. Bad, goofy characters, worse dialogue, comedic plot. Highly recommended.

I haven't bothered with New Moon cause Twilight was so bad, but Kat and I laughed through all of Twilight. I was afraid we'd get kicked out of the theatre.

I promise you, New Moon is funnier. They act a little more in the second one, which comes out better *and* worse, as with the Star Wars prequels.

I do the Twilight drinking game. We just played Friday night when we saw New Moon.

The game is:

-- Whenever you go "Really? Really? They're really doing this shot?" (For example, traipsing through the woods in a sundress and all-khaki.)
-- Whenever you/someone is forced to make a gagging sound
-- Any shot which makes you go "She's going for Edward over Jacob? Really?"
-- Any time someone makes a face like something smells bad
-- Any melodrama which sounds like an LJ post
