My Nana is doing slightly better. Her blood pressure finally stabilized, so they hope to move her to a long-term care facility to facilitate recovery therapy in a more closely monitored environment. She is much more alert and aware these days, as well, and can even make some basic noises. I feel so sorry for her, I can't imagine the strain of weeks of being unable to communicate, or take care of yourself, not even including the aftermath of her stroke.
Unfortunately, as he hasn't been spending much time at home, Agent Orange decided to move Pepito the Wonder Cat to his girlfriend's house. I will miss Pepito terribly, I admit. I just got attached to him after all these years, and I hope he adjusts well to a house full of people, and a baby to boot. He's just an old scaredy cat, but I know he will be fine, in time. Plus, I will have to wander around the house talking to myself now, as there's no lanky gray cat to follow me around anymore.
Friday, caught a noise show featuring klangstabil. Uncovered that while it's neat, it's not my cup of tea. But really, I was there to support Amsterdamned, as this was her first production, and while I wasn't a big fan of the space, it seemed like a success.
Working nights this week, which I know will throw me for a loop.
Still haven't seen either of the movies I have been meaning to, but both get pushed back until I get a chance to see Spiderman.
Remind me sometime to tell you about my charmed life. It's pretty zen.
