OK, look  
If I have to put up with terrible summers because I live south of the Mason/Dixon line, I should at least have the bonus of going through winters without having to shovel snow up to my frikkin' waist.

Global warming also will increase the amount of snow we get. 'Cause of increased temperature, there's more evaporation, which leads to more moisture in the air, so when it's cold enough to snow, there'll be more of it. Longer explanation with references here.
