On this day in 1876, frontiersman "Wild Bill" Hickok was shot and killed while playing poker at a saloon in Deadwood, Dakota Territory. Also, in 1943, PT-109, commanded by Lt. John F. Kennedy, sank after being rammed by the Japanese destroyer Amagiri off the Solomon Islands.

Awesome soiree at Agent Black and Holly Hobby's last night. I got me nice and toasty on mi-mo-sa and my 40 of triple black. Aw yeah. Not to mention a impromptu LiveJournal convergence.
