In Theaters: Wolverine

For a treat for Maia's Day, the three of us walked over to the theater and caught X-Men Origins: Wolverine (which is an excessively long title.) Now, mind you, expectations were set low. I don't care about changes to the mythology between the books and the movie. But honestly, I expected more action out of it. It's Wolverine! We need more big, bloody fight scenes. Also, a more interesting storyline, and characterization. Don't get me wrong, parts were OK, but the whole was somewhat disappointing.

New trailers:
* Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - Do we need another one? No. Did the trailer crack me up? Yes.
* Funny People - Judd Apatow is (usually) gold for me. Adam Sandler is (usually) poison. Which way will this go?
* Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - oh, yes. Please don't mess this up, guys. We're not looking for much.
* District 9 - Ooh. Reminiscent of Alien Nation, in a good way. Fingers crossed.
* Night at the Museum 2 - Never saw the first, didn't see anything here to change my mind.
