OK, this is a House spoiler and an actual news item. So. If you're caught up on House, or don't care about spoilers, read on...

So, didn't it seem weird the way that they killed off Dr. Kutner so abruptly on Monday's episode? Real shocker, honestly. Well, it turns out that Kal Penn is getting a job at the White House. Yes, the real one. No, this isn't a Harold & Kumar reference. He's joining the Obama administration in the Office of Public Liaison.

So, OK, now I get it. And good on him. But, whoah.
