Bebe night was mostly successful. Keeping a promise to a close friend, there was much talking and singing to the aforementioned bebe.

Also, two movies: The Animal is the worst superhero movie I have ever seen. I did like his friend in the movie, though (the one who saw *everything* as reverse racism.) And a second viewing of Donnie Darko, which did little to change my opinion. OK, the direction was better than I remembered the first time, but still, not all that.

And while RQ was at the doctor's this morning (clean bill of health) I caught The Black Hole (which I haven't seen in eons.) All the facts you need on the film: 1979 science fiction, by Disney. Starring Maximilian Schell, Anthony Perkins, Robert Forster, and Ernest Borgnine (and the voices of Roddy McDowall and Slim Pickens.) Highly amusing, and it even lowered my opinion of Event Horizon.

* Prisoners of war held at our base in Guantanamo (remember them? the news sure don't) attempting suicide over conditions.
* Altering tactics in the face of new, organized violence in Iraq.
* Harry Potter and fanfic, noticed by the Washington Post (and lawyers.)
