this, that

Talked to Z. a bit last night. Sounds like she had fun at school. Mentioned meeting new friends, and sounded like she was paying attention to her teacher, so, a good start.

Oh, and, the other day on the Metro, Z. decided to write a book, so I took dictation. M. has the scans and commentary here.

Yesterday was filled with housework, followed by a visit from the effervescent lemonruss. We caught up, M. cooked up some delicious ginger steak, which blew us all out of the water. Afterwards, we played Pandemic, and actually won. And let me tell you, considering how often that didn't happen before that point, we totally did the dance of joy! (What, you were expecting something else?)

This week: relaxing, maybe some painting, when I can tear myself away from Team Fortress. This weekend: the wrong part of Virginia.
