Netflixin': Diary of the Dead

M. and I watched Diary of the Dead the other night. Almost a remake of Romero's original classic, it focuses heavily on the characters and their reactions to what's going on around them, to the movie's credit. It also owes a debt to The Blair Witch Project, but the framework works, for me. M. and I did debate after the movie if it was the script or the acting that was holding the movie back from being a top hit. Probably a combination of the two, honestly, but it's still a decent flick. If you like zombie movies, check it out.
