brief wrap-up
SATURDAY:
After work I zipped home, and in no time the Karaoke Party for M.'s birthday was in full swing. Good times! Everyone seemed to have fun, it was a good crowd of people. I tried not to hog the mic too much. Got in a couple songs I hadn't done before, and I think I did a decent job of 'em. Definitely had been too long since we had a nice big party, and too long since we karaoke'ed up the joint.
Bonus thanks to
anevergreen and kaedwen for making the long trek out and running their excellent karaoke set-up. They had categorized binders and everything!
Bonus: Saturday was also Kira the Cat's birthday. M. put up some fancy comparison photos here.
SUNDAY:
Family dinner for Father's Day in Crofton. As always, things were a little hectic for a group that size at the restaurant, but quickly smoothed out. I think everyone had a good time. Afterwards, my dad wanted a group shot in the parking lot, and I stole the opportunity to snag these two pics:

Tonight is book club. Tomorrow, theoretically a little long-awaited gaming. This weekend is a mystery.
