For want of a nail

Overslept, just a little, but long enough to miss the first bus. No sweat, that's why we can catch the second bus and still get to work on time. Of course, the second bus is the one which gets hit by the car. Nothing major, nothing is hurt. Seriously, it just sounded like a rock hit a window (the car wasn't as lucky.) But it was enough that they had to get another bus to pick us up. Meaning that by the time I got to Metro Center, I was late enough to experience the train experiencing mechanical difficulties on the (already overcrowded) Orange/Blue line.

Good times, good times.
