Now that we finally finished season three of Deadwood, I just have to say:

Man, the whole season would have been a lot better without that entire "actors come to Deadwood" subplot. Seriously, annoying, and got worse when I realized it actually wasn't going anywhere and the show was almost over.

On the whole, I dug the season, but that one really stuck with me.

Now that Deadwood is gone, I'm trying to think if there's any reason to keep HBO around anymore. Most of the cable shows I watch are on Showtime, and HBO is the only one we pay for separately.
