This is one of my more-favorite survey things, since it involved a little creativity, so I ended up doing a couple.
First I used the Sisters of Mercy, who have too many short song titles:

5. Describe your girlfriend/boyfriend/interest[/spouse]: "Heartland" [alternately, "Gimme Shelter."] ["Valentine" and "Temple of Love" were too easy, and a certain someone is already gonna mock me for this.]
6. Where would you rather be?: "Dominion/Mother Russia"
7. Describe what you want to be: "Nine While Nine"
8. Describe how you live: "A Rock And A Hard Place"
9. Describe how you love: "Driven Like The Snow"
10. Share a few words of wisdom: "Kiss the Carpet"
(And I got through all that without using "Some Kind of Stranger")
So then I did it using The Cure:
