"Safety experts for the Food and Drug Administration urged the agency on Friday to consider an outright ban on over-the-counter, multisymptom cough and cold medicines for children under 6."

OK, now, Z. gets colds pretty often, and I don't know how miserable she would have been over the past couple years without some for of medicine to help her decongest and get some sleep. I appreciate making sure things are safe for kids, but an outright ban would be bad.
