Commuting mystery: solved. Instead of taking the S2 down to Federal Triangle and catching a bus from there, I am just getting off the second bus at 16th and K, and then just hoofing it down to Georgetown. It's, uh, not a quick walk (my work is on 31st St.) but appears dramatically more reliable than fishing for the third bus. Might try M Street next week, for variety.
Being tired, I stayed home last night and watched Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society. Admittedly, it benefits on being able to draw from the characterization and atmosphere of the GitS:SAC TV show, but honestly, I think I like it even better than the original movie. I'll definitely pick up a copy, sooner or later.
